Gulthias Tree: AC 15, 250 HP
Yester Hill: The Gulthias Descent
- Ritual Progress: Round [4]/10.
- Goal: Druid must reach Area Y4 and begin the chant at the base of the Gulthias Tree.
- Victory Condition: If the players reduce the Gulthias Tree to 0 HP, the ritual is ruined forever.
- Loot Opportunity: The Yester Hill Axe (magic battleaxe) is embedded in the tree; it deals an extra 1d8 damage to these plant creatures.
Ritual Logic: The Gem & The Statue
- Standard: Ritual requires the Gem inside the Statue. If Gem is removed, the statue collapses (
). - Adaptive Ritual (Homebrew): If the players steal the gem, the lead Druid (or Strahd) will command the berserkers to retrieve it.
- Fail State: If the Gulthias Tree (Y4) is destroyed (
), the ritual is ruined regardless of the gem's location.
DM Note
If a Druid holds the gem, consider having them roll a DC 15 Con Save each turn or take 1d10 Radiant damage as the vineyard's "Life Energy" overloads a corrupted soul.
