Summary

The party continued their fierce battle in the Old Bonegrinder and successfully struck down the hag matron before dealing with her daughters. During the fight, Linus identified the true nature of their terrifying foes, whose dark auras vanished upon the death of the matriarch.

The Hag Coven

The ambush in the Old Bonegrinder escalated as the old woman's daughters joined the fray from the second floor. As the intense battle raged on, the party focused their efforts and managed to strike a lethal blow against the matron. Before falling, she shape-shifted into her true, terrifying form, allowing Linus to recognize the creatures as deadly hags. When her daughters had first entered the fight, the adventurers noticed a sinister dark aura surrounding each of them—a manifestation of their coven magic—but the dark energy dissipated the moment the first monster was slain.
